Reposting this absolute banger of a carousel I made last year that got me 300k views and dang near 2k followers…cause it’s THAT SPOOKY!

For real though, wandering through the wellness world sometimes feels… scary (and not in the fun Halloween-classic-movie way)!

It’s haunted by rampant misinformation, appropriation, spiritual bypassing, and “intuition” that’s just a rebrand of bloated ego and sh*tty capitalism.

And while I’m farrrrr from perfect & have no desire to be, I do try to keep learning and un-learning so that my work is real, rooted, and reciprocal.

So let’s skip the haunted wellness trends; I’ll keep the lights on in the house for us (and not poison you in negligence lol).

The nights are growing longer, and there is a crisp chill on the breeze. As we walk towards another turn of the wheel and the scarlet & golden leaves fall around us, our energy begins to pull inward. We may find ourselves nesting into the coziness of our homes, huddled by hearthfire.

November’s Candlebright Coven box is a crafty invitation to let your hands weave magic & beautify your home!

In this collection, we’ll be DIY crafting a magical orange garland, complete with a spell for welcoming winter cheer & warmth.
Included in this enchanted parcel, you’ll receive:
-a double sided keepsake guide with directions & a potent welcome winter spell
-some dried oranges to get you started
-enchanted pouch full of additional adornments with magical correspondences
-a length of twine to tie it all together

✨Existing coven members boxes begin shipping on the 1st.
If you want to join the coven for magickal, sacred, & seasonal crafting, drop me a comment or dm and I will deliver you the info!

In fallow light the spider weaves her silken web
as autumn winds carry the groan of our beloved dead
Rotten jewels of crimson berries hang low upon the branch
and through the gloom the spirits call, beckoning us in dance

With tricks & treats we chant the old song
threaded through crimson trees and nights now long
against the eerie flicker of candle glow
flying up to kiss the sky as only witches know

“I am so glad you teach this way- giving us time to journey with the plants- because they’ve really been coming through for me” -Alyssa, current WHH student

This curriculum was built slowly & steadily- over years of study, practice, listening, teaching, learning, and UNlearning. It weaves together everything I have stood in full body devotion to, offering clinical foundations, academic research, embodied practice, land based wisdom, and the kind of reciprocal relationship that is worth having.

What I offer you is so much more than memorizing herbs or collecting random techniques. WHH is about learning (remembering, really) how to think, feel, and practice herbalism in a way that is grounded, ethical, ancestral, and REAL.

If you’ve been hungry for an herbal experience that takes intelligence seriously, honors both science & spirit equally, values embodiment as much as information, and offers true care…

Wild Heart Herbalism was built for you.

Early bird enrollment is open but closes soon, and we start in May 🌿
Peep the Wild Heart Herbalism link you know where for the full curriculum & registration. Or, just reach out!

As a small business owner, successful herbalist, & practicing witch, there’s a lot of places where these worlds intersect and I take full advantage of my magical leverage!

Naturally, there’s plenty more of these little enchant-my-life examples (including some I won’t disclose 😉), but these are a few that come to mind easily!

So if magic, small biz, magical plants, herbalism, enchantment, and potions are your vibe…let’s be friends!

This whirlwind weekend has passed, and so, my countdown to next year’s the Salem Night Faire begins! 🖤

As I sit in my cozy cottage, I am filled with unending gratitude towards Ryan & Matthew Murray & crew for yet another unforgettable display of haunting beauty beyond the scarlet Salem oaks and darkened pines.

I am honored to have been invited back for my 5th year, among the other stupendous makers, creatives, & vendors who similarly pour their hearts into their craft; most of whom have become dear friends. 🖤

And of course, I am grateful for each and every attendant who came & stopped in my magical apothecary for a chat, a question, a compliment, and a purchase- my heart sends unending thank you’s to yours.

As always, i was so busy I barely took any photos or videos—but trust that this modest carousel represents something much grander. It was an honor, privilege, and pleasure to have once again been a part of something so lovely, and I look forward to next year when I return! 🖤

I’m always working hard teaching my students herbalism, making you plant potions, tending the apothecary, and growing all of the herbs…

But mentally I’m in one of these places 🥲

tag ya self with where you are mentally or add your own in the comments - I could use the laugh !

The best apothecaries are full of a few tricks and a few treats 😉🖤🎃

I am so excited to be back peddling my plant potions at this year’s the Salem Night Faire THIS weekend, 10/17 & 10/18!

Come wander beyond the veil in the liminal pine tree tunnel portal of Salem’s Old Pioneer Village to get your spooky fill of artisans, crafters, snacks, & and ghost stories.

And if you dare, enter the gilded tent of Gate & Garden’s apothecary for a bewitching remedy. Be it ritual candles, spell oils, poison plant talismans, cauldrons, or mystery oracle fortunes alike, I have witchcraft wares & more aplenty!

you fly over
when it’s cold out
follow me home
back to the lighthouse 🕯️

Many of you know me as a deep lover of the land; a soil soul with mycelial veins. And indeed, I am- my solace is often found amongst pine groves & mottled moss covered branches.

But having lived my entire life near water, my cancer moon heart is deeply tied to ocean kissed shores.
Living on the south coast of Massachusetts, maritime culture is as much of my identity as anything else. The echoes of lighthouse beacons, salt spray caked calloused hands, and scallop shells reverberate through my body as a siren song.

I love the ocean in her truest form, for the Atlantic is angry & tempestuous. The spirit of water here does not show in reflective teal tide pools or soft sands, but rather in rugged & rocky shorelines and dark, foaming waves.

I’ve conjured much of my magic from these liminal depths, and I weave the mists of salt & sediment in all that I do. I am grateful beyond measure to the water spirits for their teachings; how to flow and yield and thrash all the same.

And as always, I am grateful for my dearest Kim Pettella , who somehow always manages to perfectly capture the intense devotion I carry for spirit of place. 🌊
