Your Back: When Should You Be Scared??
We've had fun this October talking about spooky back noises, but here's the quick reminder: cracks and pops aren't a bad thing; it means that you are moving and being active!
Your back doesn't have to be perfectly silent to be healthy.
What matters is how you feel. If those noises come with pain, increasing stiffness, or difficulty moving, it's worth finding out what's going on.
And if back pain really is frightening, the good news is that you have options!
🎃 What If Your Back Pain Is Really Scary?
Maybe your back isn't just making noises. Maybe it hurts when you bend over to pick something up. Maybe standing up straight has become a challenge. Or perhaps you've been living with stiffness and discomfort for so long that you've forgotten what moving freely feels like.
The good news is that you have options!
At Bodyworx Physical Therapy & Concussion Center, we look at the whole picture to understand what may be contributing to your symptoms. Depending on your individual needs, treatment may include:
Hands-on therapy to address movement restrictions and help you move more comfortably.
Targeted exercises to improve strength, flexibility, mobility, and confidence with everyday activities.
Advanced technology to complement your unique treatment plan.
Recovery options in our new Longevity Lounge, including our PEMF table and far infrared therapy.
There isn't one treatment that works for everyone. That's why we focus on finding the approach that makes sense for you and your goals.
🌟 A Little More Movement, A Lot More Hope
One of the things I enjoy most at Bodyworx is seeing people do things they haven't been able to do comfortably in years.
Recently, we had a patient use the PEMF table in our new Bodyworx Longevity Lounge. After his session, he was able to straighten and bend his back in ways he hadn't been able to for years!
For someone who has struggled with limited movement for that long, being able to move more freely can feel like a big deal.
Of course, everyone's experience is different, and we can't promise the same results for everyone. But stories like this remind us why it's worth exploring options when you're struggling with movement.
Our Longevity Lounge offers additional recovery options that may complement your physical therapy care. You don't necessarily have to be scheduled for an appointment with Cody to ask about using the available technology.
If you'd like to learn more about the PEMF table or other Longevity Lounge options, give us a call or send us an email. We'd be happy to talk with you about what's available.
👻 Don't Let Back Pain "Haunt" You
This October, we've had fun talking about spooky back noises, scary back pain, and the things your spine wishes you would do every day.
But here's the message I really want you to remember:
Movement is a good thing. A cracking or popping sound doesn't mean something is wrong, and you don't need a perfectly silent back to stay active.
If your back noises come with pain, or if stiffness and discomfort are keeping you from doing the things you love, you don't have to figure it out alone.
At Bodyworx, we have a variety of treatment options to help you move toward your goals.
Don't wait until your back becomes the scariest thing in your life!
