You'd think that when you work at a med spa you would get treatments all the time, but I am telling you I am ALWAYS last on the list! Well, the other day I made sure I took some time for myself and got our new Pumpkin Enzyme Facial. I am the queen of dry skin and just knew this was a good one for me.

It's funny, because I thought my skin was doing okay, but WOW! Seeing these pictures, I just had to share. The pumpkin is a little spicy and I could tell it was working. This is not just a fluffy facial, it works!

What if it isn’t actually acne? 👀

Rosacea can sometimes look a lot like acne — redness, bumps, pustules and breakouts — especially with papulopustular rosacea.

The problem? Treating rosacea like traditional acne can sometimes make things much worse.

Harsh acne products, aggressive exfoliation, strong acids and drying treatments can irritate an already sensitive skin barrier, leading to more redness, inflammation, burning and flare-ups.

✨ Acne and rosacea may look similar, but they often need very different treatment plans.

If you’ve been treating your “acne” over and over and it just keeps getting redder, more irritated or more sensitive… maybe it’s time to look at it differently.
