WAVES Day Program

🎬 A big W.A.V.E.S. shoutout to The Pointe Movie Theater!

We are so grateful for their continued support of our program. Every time we visit, their team goes above and beyond to make our group feel welcomed, valued, and accommodated. They are always incredibly kind and make every experience such a great one for our adults. 💙

We also LOVE that The Pointe supports inclusion beyond their guests by providing employment opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. 👏

Businesses that truly embrace and support people of ALL abilities deserve to be celebrated, and The Pointe is definitely one of them!

Thank you, The Pointe, for being such a wonderful friend to W.A.V.E.S. and to the IDD community! 🎥🍿💙

I’m thrilled to announce a new podcast that I have the honor of co-hosting with Naomi Pyle! Naomi is not only a dedicated sister and guardian to her brother, John, but also a passionate advocate for adults with disabilities.

Together, we’re creating a space to share our experiences of living and working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through heartfelt conversations and insightful interviews with fellow advocates, we hope to provide wisdom, support, and valuable knowledge—all in one place.

We can’t wait for you to join us on this journey! Stay tuned for inspiring stories and meaningful discussions.

In this podcast we focus on Erin’s Story. Erin shares her journey for starting the W.A.V.E.S program and growing up with a special needs brother.
