Liberty Health Liberty Health emphasizes personal independence among our staff, patients and residents who have made Liberty part of their lives. Enhancing lives. Our family.

Family-owned since 1875, Liberty Health has built a legacy of caring by providing a trusted and compassionate full continuum of healthcare services for generationsβ€”from rehabilitation and skilled nursing to home health, palliative, and hospice services. As a privately owned, family business for more than a century, Liberty Health is dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services, retirement communities and programs that help people live longer, healthier lives. With locations in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, Louisiana and Florida, Liberty Health’s family of companies makes it easy to find quality care close to home. Our continuum of care network includes Liberty Health and Rehab, Liberty Home Care and Hospice, Liberty Senior Living, Liberty Medicare Advantage, Liberty Medical Specialties and McNeill's Pharmacy. Our comprehensive approach to care gives patients, residents and their loved ones peace of mind knowing Liberty understands and can support their needs as they change. We offer the best of both worlds for employees: an organization large enough to extend many career paths and opportunities, but small enough to make you feel like part of our family. We believe strongly in being part of the communities we serve and to giving back through community outreach and charitable organizations. Mission:

Cultivating community. Promoting independence. Your family. Together. Every. Single. Day.

πŸŽ‰ Happy Anniversary! πŸŽ‰

Johnny Cruz is celebrating five years with Liberty Health!

β€œI began my career in the U.S. Army, where I served for seven years before joining the police force in California. I enjoyed serving others, working as part of a team, and making a difference in my community.

I eventually decided to move into the private sector, where I could work with my hands and build things. I started in construction and later transitioned into property and facilities management in Park City, Utah. I spent nearly two decades working at Deer Valley and the Waldorf Astoria, gaining hands-on experience in luxury hospitality, property operations, and team leadership.

After many years in the mountains, I decided it was time to trade the snow for the sand and made the move to Charleston, South Carolina.

My favorite part about working at Liberty is the people. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know the residents and building strong relationships with our contractors. Along the way, I’ve met so many interesting, hardworking, and genuinely good people.”

Congratulations, Johnny! ✨

πŸŽ‰ Happy Anniversary! πŸŽ‰

Donna Hannig is celebrating five years with Liberty Senior Living!

β€œThere are many things I enjoy about working at Liberty, but at the top of the list is the team I have the privilege of working with every day. The Liberty Senior Living accounting team navigates what sometimes feels like an endless parade of deadlines. While the pace can be demanding, we consistently come together to get the job done. More importantly, we genuinely care about one another. We support each other through challenges, celebrate successes, and have built something that feels a lot like family.

Beyond my immediate team, the people across Liberty are what make this organization special. Everyone shares a common goal of success, both professionally and personally, and most colleagues are always willing to lend a helping hand. And, of course, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the food trucks. They may not help us close the books any faster, but they certainly make the journey more enjoyable!”

Congratulations, Donna! ✨
