There is a difference between compromise and losing yourself in a relationship.
Healthy love doesn’t ask you to abandon your values, silence your voice, or surrender your boundaries just to keep the peace.
You can love someone and still say no. You can care deeply about someone and still stand firm in who you are.
When a relationship requires you to give up pieces of yourself to avoid conflict, earn approval, or keep someone happy, it’s time to pay attention.
Love should never require you to abandon yourself.
You are allowed to have boundaries. You are allowed to have your own voice. And you are allowed to be yourself without fear of losing someone’s love.
