Juanita Everman was a beloved leader and advocate in Clark County for the recovery community.

Sadly, she passed away in December.

However, her legacy lives on.

This morning, the Juanita L. Everman Leadership Recovery Scholarship Agreement was recognized at Wi******er’s Bluegrass Community and Technical College (BCTC) campus.

The initial gift to establish the fund, starting at $1,000, will go toward supporting BCTC students.

“She’ll never be replaced,” said husband Dickie Everman. “She would want us to move forward, and help in our community.”
