This morning, a client I did a pre-purchase inspection for texted me THIS picture. 👀
This area by the back door had ZERO visible signs of damage. No bubbling. No damaged flooring. No obvious signs of moisture.
But Buck alerted at the door and was HELL BENT on making sure I paid attention. 😂
He does this thing where he’ll yank his leash backward if I try to move on before he’s finished telling me what he needs to tell me. He was NOT letting this one go!
Well… he was right. 👏🏼🐾
This was an area that could have easily been missed by anyone. And I pride myself on being VERY thorough with my inspections.
But that’s the thing about hidden mold and moisture issues. Sometimes, there are no visible signs.
No obvious damage. No bubbling paint. No warning signs that something could be going on beneath the surface.
And when people can’t SEE a problem, it’s easy to dismiss the possibility that one exists.
That’s why Buck is such an important part of what we do. He can detect the scent of mold that might otherwise go unnoticed, helping us identify areas that deserve a closer look.
I bring the inspection experience, the tools, and the knowledge. Buck brings his nose. And together, we make a pretty incredible team. ❤️
The nose goes where the mold grows. 🐾
