🌳WEEKEND ADVENTURES🌳Just a quick zip ✈️ to Australia 🐨to witness a few docile kangaroos 🦘 and wallabies 🦘 at Jumping Junction …. Not jumping. Actually they’re all quite relaxed 😴and lovely to observe ☺️. We hope these furry marsupials enjoy🌳 Animal Kingdom 🌳 as much as we do 🤩

The kids 👧 loved meeting Bluey and Bingo at the Conservation Station! The show was incredibly interactive and had the kiddos so engaged 🤗

🤫 ASMR SPECIAL TESTING 🤫 Your vision 👁️ isn’t just about reading 👀the smallest 🤏letters 🔠 on an eye chart. Contrast Sensitivity ⚪️⚫️ measures how well you can detect objects when there isn’t a strong difference between the object 🐟and its background 🌊💦.

This can be especially important 👌for everyday situations like :
👉🏿Seeing while driving 🚗at night 🌘
👉🏾Navigating stairs 🚶‍♂️and curbs 🏘️
👉🏽Seeing in fog🌫️ , glare ✨, or low-light conditions 🌆
👉🏼Detecting obstacles 🚧 in your environment 🚸

A person 🤓can have 👓 20/20 visual acuity 👓and still have reduced contrast sensitivity👎. That’s why this test can provide valuable information! 🧐

😎Clear vision is more than 20/20! 🤩

🤩 SEEING IS BELIEVING. BELIEVING IS ACHIEVING 🤩

All we want as parents 🙋‍♂️🙋🏽‍♀️ is for our kids 🧒 👦🏻to grow up to be good human beings 👍. But it also doesn’t hurt if they can pass a math test ✖️➗➕➖, or do decently well on a spelling 🔠 bee 🐝 , maybe even recognize a few geographical markers on a map 🗺️ 📍🧭.

🧐Sharp vision is the first step to any accuracy in eye teaming skills 👀 for learning how to read 📝and write ✍️ , how to gauge distances ↔️ between cars 🚗 🚙 when they begin driving, or how to confidently step up to bat ⚾️with refined hand ✋ -eye 👁️ coordination skills . Clear and concise vision is needed for daily life. 😎

Even if your child seems perfectly fine 😇, it’s still wise to have a thorough eye exam 🤓

😎UV PROTECTION IS VERY IMPORTANT😎

That’s why we as optometrists 👩🏻‍⚕️👨‍⚕️always recommend them to everyone of all ages 👧🧒🧔‍♂️👩🏽‍🦳. The added treatment 👩🏾‍🔬🧑‍🔬to your eyeglass 🥸lenses can help reduce the progression of cataracts, macular degeneration, and free radicals that can harm the eye 👁️ with extended exposure 🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞.

🇺🇸 HAPPY 4th of JULY !!🇺🇸
We celebrated America’s 250th Birthday 🎂 by watching the Air Force ✈️ flyover at our office parking lot 🅿️ at 👁️Site to See 👁️(fun fact: many people go there to see the Magic Kingdom 🏰 nighttime fireworks) then headed into the park to dine 🍽️ at Crystal Palace 🥘🍝🍤 and met the cast of Winnie the Pooh! And ultimately ended the night 🌙at the most MAGICAL 🏰 place on earth 🐭 with spectacular fireworks 🎆 🎇

👁️👁️ MYOPIA CONTROL, NEARSIGHTEDNESS MANAGEMENT, “I can see close but not far away” 👁️👁️.
It has many names, and while a barrier to clear vision 🤓is not impossible to treat 👩🏻‍⚕️. With the right tools, fitted by professionals 🧑‍⚕️, these contact lenses will yield lasting results you can clearly see 👀👀👀👀.

Misight is mostly fitted on emerging teens 👦to young adults. 👩The goal is to reduce ⬇️ the progression of nearsightedness 👓so that their prescription does not advance as quickly as it otherwise would without intervention. 🦸‍♂️

📆 Close monitoring spaced in 3️⃣month intervals 🕒 allows the optometrist to conduct proper surveillance 📑 of how the eye 👁️ is adapting and answer questions as the year progresses. 💁‍♀️

Ask your eyecare provider about how MiSight may fit into you or your child’s lifestyle!
