✨🐾 Adoption Friday: Finding the Purr.fect Home 🐾✨

🤎🐾 MEET CRAIG! 🐾🤎

Looking for a laid-back companion to share your couch and your heart? Meet Craig! 🐱

This handsome 1-year-old brown tabby has a gentle soul and a relaxed personality. He's more of a couch potato than a party animal, making him a wonderful match for someone who appreciates a quieter home and a little feline companionship. 🛋️❤️

Craig is looking for an adult-only home with older teens and up, where he can feel safe, settle in, and enjoy the good life. His compatibility with other cats is unknown, so slow, proper introductions will be important.

🏡 COULD CRAIG BE YOUR FOREVER FRIEND?

If you're looking for a sweet, gentle companion, Craig could be the kitty you've been waiting for! ❤️ Contact or visit the TJ O'Connor Adoption Center to learn more about adopting him.

Can't adopt right now? Please SHARE his story! Your share could help Craig find the loving forever home he deserves. 🐾

Meet **Missy**! ❤️

This beautiful 1-year-old Coonhound mix is looking for an experienced family who understands the energy, personality, and big-hearted nature of a hound.

🐾 **Missy**
❤️ 1 year, 4 months
🏠 Spayed female
🐶 Large Coonhound mix
📍 Connecticut Humane Society — Newington Branch

Missy is a **high-energy girl** who would love a home where she can get plenty of exercise, activity, and adventure every day. She'd do best with dog-savvy kids **14+** who are comfortable with rambunctious dogs.

She needs a **cat- and small-animal-free home** and may be able to live with another dog after a successful introduction. Because she has behaviors typical of her breed, an adopter with experience with large hounds would be a great match.

Missy isn't looking for just any home — she's looking for the **right** home. And somewhere out there is a family who is exactly what she's been waiting for. 🐾❤️

Could Missy be your next adventure buddy? Share her story and help her find her forever home!

🕯️ Did you know your candle wick needs a little TLC?

Before lighting your candle, trim the wick to about ¼ inch. A properly trimmed wick helps create a more controlled flame and can help your candle burn more evenly.

✂️ Trim it before each burn, especially if you notice a large flame, excess soot, or a mushroom-shaped wick.

A little candle care goes a long way toward getting the best experience from your candle. 🕯️✨

Save this for your next candle burn!
