Lani, a 10-year-old FS Rottweiler, had a chronic wound on her toe caused by persistent licking and self-trauma. Due to the severity of the lesion, the toe was amputated.

KeraVet Gel was added to Lani’s post-op wound care plan to support healing and help deter licking.

8 days later, her owner reported visible improvement and no licking or self-trauma. But Lani’s rambunctious activity led to other plans. The incision dehisced and will require surgical closure with KeraVet Gel continuing as part of her wound care plan.
