Rest & Remember is an intentional community fundraiser centered around rest, remembrance, and connection during the Día de los Mu***os season.

The evening will take place at the Downriver Council for the Arts in Wyandotte and will include a candlelit Yoga Nidra experience, a community remembrance altar/ofrenda, and space for reflection and connection. We are also exploring the addition of a sound healing element and local vendors.

The event flow is:

5:00–6:00 PM — Arrival, vendors, altar participation, and settling into the space
6:00–7:00 PM — Candlelit Yoga Nidra experience, with doors closed during the practice
7:00–8:00 PM — Community connection, altar time, vendors, and reflection

The event supports a human trafficking advocacy fundraiser connected to work in Kolkata, India, with funds supporting protection, education, rehabilitation, and empowerment efforts for vulnerable girls and women through Philanthropic Femme Society.

Suggested donation is between $30 and $70. All proceeds benefit the Women's Interlink Foundation in Kolkata, India. Feel free to invite any of your family/friends as well if you think they would benefit from a space like this. If funds are a barrier, any donation will be accepted for entry. ❣️
