A festive fall day at Dr. Davies Farm in Congers! The ladies from Yawpo group home had a wonderful time picking apples, soaking up the beautiful weather, and enjoying a lovely day together. Nothing better than fresh air, fall fun, and great company!

Congratulations to Queenasia McFarlane (Manager: Sicomac/Hillside) for being chosen as HCS’ 3rd Quarter Employee of the quarter. Woo hoo!!

Queenasia deserves to be the employee of the quarter because she goes above and beyond to do her job without even expecting recognition for what she does. She is a dedicated and reliable employee. An example would be during the first snow storm we had and also during this blizzard. During the first storm she stayed 3 shifts without any complaint. During this blizzard she gave staff transportation to and from work. She made a pathway with her feet, because no one came to shovel or plow, so staff can have a safe entryway inside the house. She helped get cars that were stuck out the snow. Beyond what she does for her staff and residents she is just an overall great person with an amazing personality and a contagious laugh. We are really lucky and proud to have her as an assistance manager. Due to her amazing performance here at HCS, Queenasia has been promoted to the Manager of Sicomac/Hillside. Congratulations Queen!!

Adventures with The Possibility Center at Hope Christian Services!

The Blue Room has been on the move and making wonderful memories!

Participants enjoyed an exciting day on the water aboard Statue City Cruises, departing from Liberty State Park and visiting both Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty. The views were amazing, and everyone had a fantastic time exploring these iconic landmarks.

The fun continued with a trip to Demarest Farms in Hillsdale, where participants enjoyed the beauty and bounty of the fall season.

A special thank you to Demarest Farms for generously donating items for TPC's Fun Friday Fall Festival. Your kindness helps make these experiences even more meaningful for the individuals we serve!

The Piece of the Fair at Cedar Hill Church was a wonderful day of community, fun, and fundraising in support of the programs and services of Hope Christian Services!

Visitors enjoyed a beautiful fall plant sale featuring selections from Van Wingerden Greenhouses, DeGroot & Son, and Cedar Hill Nursery. Dutch treats and cheese from Holland American Bakery were a favorite stop, while Abma's c***r and donuts added a delicious taste of autumn. 🎃

Guests also showcased their creativity by painting pumpkins, and our team kept everyone fueled with a tasty lunch from the grill.

New this year was the Harvest of Hope Car Meet, where classic car enthusiasts proudly displayed their vehicles. It was a fantastic addition to the event and enjoyed by many attendees.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, donated, and helped make the day so special. Your support helps us continue bringing hope and services to those we serve. ❤️
