“Control what you can and do your best with the rest! “
✈️Theres lots that you can’t completely control when traveling on vacation but you can control your travel days . Pack your own meals for the plane ✈️. Airline or airport food is just not worth it . Choose your moments to indulge! This is not a moment .
✈️ They came around with some unappealing looking wraps and such . The calories were on the packages .. 780 calories!! My lunch was only 270 calories.
I saved a ton of calories that will be better used on margaritas and guacamole in Mexico 🇲🇽 Make it a HABIT!

Lynn lost 20 pounds by joining The Real Deal 8 week online weight loss program. Here’s her story
I started the Real Deal in September after gaining weight slowly for about 3 years. Quarantine kicked my weight gain up a notch and by the end of the summer I was basically eating sweets all day and not working out. When I joined in September I was at my highest adult weight, not including my three pregnancies. I actually weighed the same as I did post partum with my youngest. None of my clothes fit and I felt like garbage.

Over the years I’ve tried a lot of really restrictive diets, and I actually had some success with the Whole 30 back in my thirties. But since turning 40 I either stopped caring enough or my metabolism really slowed down, and cutting out food groups didn’t work for me anymore. I was doing a lot of running and other cardio too and I couldn’t figure out why nothing worked.

Since joining in September I’ve lost 20 pounds from my highest weight. I have not cut out anything, although I have learned what my trigger foods are and I do try to avoid super sweet things early in the day. The biggest thing I have learned, though, is to give myself credit and stop freaking out if I go over one day. I used to eat something high calorie and immediately think “well the day is ruined” and then launch into like a weeklong binge. I don’t do that anymore.

The other part of this is the accountability. Submitting my pics and journals to Gladys, a has really kept me on track. I also have a group of girlfriends who are doing this with me, and every day we text each other our meals, our exercise plans, and we encourage each other. The FB groups have so many great ideas, and reading about people with the same struggles or triumphs has helped me enormously. I really feel like this has become a lifestyle for me, and I’ve never felt better. Thank you Gladys!!!

I love ❤️ my wine 🍷. It’s a non negotiable in my life .. not giving it up ever. And you don’t have to give up wine 🍷 or anything else 🍫 🍪 you enjoy in order to lose or maintain weight. We have to normalize eating ( and drinking)less nutritious foods on a more regular basis in order to stop feeling deprived and then feeling the need to “cheat” with an over abundance of these foods we have deemed off limits.
It’s ironic but by permitting all foods , we stop feeling the need to overeat them.

Overweight Female ,50 ish comes to work with me and says “ I’ve been so busy taking care of my family’s needs that I just haven’t made myself a priority, but now the kids are all gone to college and I have some time to focus on myself”
Caring for yourself is a form of self love ❤️. And caring for yourself does not have to be done at the expense of caring for others .
Your family feels your energy 🙌🏻. If you’re feeling unhappy😔 with how you look and feel, this bleeds intro your mood and energy level . And then that’s what you give to your family. And how you treat yourself is how your children will treat themselves as adults. You are doing them a huge disservice all the way around.
And every 50 year old unhealthy unhappy woman I’ve worked with says the same thing .. “ I really wished I hadn’t waited this long”.
Ladies , please give yourself the love ❤️and attention you so freely give to others . YOU ARE IMPORTANT . Yes, your family needs you so give them the healthiest happiest version of yourself.
It’s ok to put yourself at the TOP of your list 📝 of priorities. Everyone in your family will benefit from it.

🏈 PREGAME-Workout 🏋️Sunday morning. This will set the tone for a healthy day and put you into the right mindset. Don't use your workout as an excuse to overeat! You cant outrun 🏃🏻‍♀️ your 🍴!
🏈Don’t try to “save calories” for munchies at the game. This will ALWAYS backfire 🤯 🔫 Going hungry will assure you eat more than you could have saved by skimping on food earlier. Eat your normal meals at the correct times prior.
🏈PRE EAT!!!!- You never want to go into a tempting eating situation hungry 🤤 !!!! Eat 100 calorie snack right before you go.
🏈HAVE A PLAN-as to what you will eat and drink. Find out ahead not time , if possible, what will be served so you can make a plan. We do not make good decisions 🤔 in the moment. And don’t be afraid to include some of your favorites ! This will help you stick to your plan.There are no bad foods , just bad portions, just eat a reasonable amount. Its ok to to over your caloric goal level sometimes!
🏈Bring Something-to ensure you have something to enjoy that fits in with your goals. Veggie 🥒🥦🥕crudite with lower calorie dip, shrimp 🍤 cocktail, fruit 🍓 platter or a Skinnytaste appy or main like chili .
🏈STAY AWAY FROM THE ISLAND!!!- You know that place where all the goodies are. Out of sight 👀, out of mind. Sit your ass 🍑 down somewhere far from the tempting high calorie stuff. Environment is everything!
🏈Avoid Compulsive Hand ✋ to Mouth Foods- Think chips, nuts 🥜 etc.
🏈LIMIT BOOZE 🍺 - BOOZE IS THE GATEWAY DRUG TO SH*TTY EATING- Decide beforehand what and how much you will drink. No more than 2 🍷🍸. Its always the third drink that gets you 🤪. Drink a full glass of water 💦 between drinks. Good choices include those portion controlled spiked seltzers, wine, lite beer and hard booze drinks with zero calorie mixers like seltzer and lime.
🏈LEFTOVERS-Get in the habit now of not 🙅🏻‍♀️ accepting leftovers and not keeping leftovers. Its often not the calories from the food we actually consume at the party, its the leftovers we eat for the days that follow. BETTER IN THE TRASH THAN ON YOUR ASS 🍑 ( or belly or thighs).

Tried @luciniitalia tomato sauce for the first time tonight .

-Heard about the great stats.. just 35 calories per 1/2 cup and no added sugar.
-Yeah, that’s cool 😎 but I don’t give a 💩 about stats if it doesn’t taste great! AND IT DID!! Even my discerning Italian 🇮🇹 hubby approved 🥇.

-Paired it with my favorite 😻 fully cooked @buterasmeatballs chicken meatballs and spaghetti 🍝 squash I made fast and easy in my beloved ❤️ air fryer.

- Fast , Easy and delicious game 🏈 night meal . That’s how I roll.
