Today, I got to watch my dog do his first low blood sugar scent detection!!! This is HUGE! No, this is not using my blood sugar scents yet, but this is the start to being able to detect low blood sugars. In the spring, I will send my own samples to Bowen Elite and they will use them for training.

In this video, a low blood sugar sample is in one hand and when Shadow alerts, he gets a treat. The goal is to get him to learn that a low blood sugar is the most important scent and he needs to alert based on that.

Shadow got his vet visit yesterday. He has a good bill of health and he is so cute 🥰

Today, he is 4 months old! I can’t wait to meet him and have him come home!!

Content training is underway! The tunnel is used for confidence building: it’s scary, dark, narrow, and it moves.

Shadow did great! Look at his tail wagging. He is such a happy puppy. 😊

I am so grateful for everyone that has supported me, cheered me on, purchased a t-shirt, made a donation, made a donation for my Dad’s Heavenly Birthday Challenge (which we have raised $294 towards so far and have two more weeks to go!), visited me, purchased items on Facebook Marketplace from my Mom, and supported my Mom (my protector).
