Not everything makes it onto our shelves. And there’s a reason for that.
If you’ve ever walked down the supplement aisle of a big-box store or spent time shopping for wellness products online, you know just how overwhelming the choices can be.
There are hundreds of brands, countless ingredients, and plenty of products making some pretty impressive promises. But how do you know what’s actually worth purchasing?
That’s something we think about.
We believe there’s a difference between simply stocking products and understanding what you’re offering your customers.
When we’re considering something new for the store, we look beyond the front of the package. We want to know what’s in it, why those ingredients were chosen, whether the formulation makes sense, and what sets it apart from the dozens of similar products already available.
You may have noticed that we don’t carry everything from every product line, and that’s intentional.
Just because we trust a particular brand doesn’t automatically mean every product they manufacture earns a place on our shelves. We evaluate products individually rather than assuming an entire line meets our expectations.
And while we carry many professional supplement lines, we also choose products from non-professional brands when they meet our high standards. A professional label alone doesn’t determine quality, and we don’t believe a product should be overlooked simply because it isn’t exclusively available through practitioners.
What matters to us is the quality of the ingredients, the thought behind the formulation, and whether it’s something we feel confident offering our customers.
We also recognize that what works well for one person may not be the right fit for someone else. That’s why we enjoy having conversations with our customers, learning what they’re looking for, and helping them compare their options.
We don’t expect everyone who walks through our doors to know the difference between various forms of certain products, understand supplement labels, or recognize every ingredient in their skincare products.
That’s part of why we’re here.
