🚸 Keep an Eye Out for Little Trick-or-Treaters!

Halloween brings more pedestrians into our neighborhoods, making it especially important for drivers and families to stay alert.

🚗 Drivers: Slow down in residential areas, watch carefully for children crossing streets, and avoid distractions behind the wheel.
🚶 Trick-or-Treaters: Use sidewalks and designated crosswalks whenever possible. Look left, right, and left again before crossing, and never assume a driver sees you.
🔦 Parents: Equip children with flashlights or glow accessories and accompany younger trick-or-treaters.

⚡ Get an AED.

Halloween is just around the corner, and Bi-County Ambulance wants to help families across Yuba and Sutter Counties celebrate safely!

Before heading out for trick-or-treating:
✅ Plan your route and stick to familiar neighborhoods.
✅ Make sure children know how to contact a parent or trusted adult.
✅ Set a meeting location in case anyone gets separated.

Bi-County Ambulance was proud to participate in the 2026 Yuba County Fall Be Prepared Fair, joining local first responders, emergency management professionals, and community partners to help residents prepare for emergencies.

If a teen or adult suddenly collapses and is unresponsive:

1️⃣ Call 911.
2️⃣ Push hard and fast in the center of the chest.
3️⃣ Use an AED as soon as one is available.

A cardiac emergency can happen anywhere — at home, at work, at school, or out in the community.

Knowing the basics of CPR means you're better prepared to act until first responders arrive.
