10/8/26 Update from the Wife
I am continuing to shout praises of gratitude and thankfulness to God! 🙌🙌We are all still just in awe of what a miracle happened! I never doubted the whole time that God was capable, but now that it’s a reality, I am just truly amazed! God is so so good. We all have such a weight lifted off of our shoulders and can breathe a little easier now ❤️
Chad is doing very well! Yesterday was pretty difficult and he was in a lot of pain and movement was pretty limited.
But today is a whole new day! He got up and went for a walk, has been eating food, and the pain is much more tolerable today. Vitals have been great and labs all good. All steps in the right direction! 🙌
Chad is handling this like a champ and is the strongest person I know! And I already see a new light shining so bright through him!💪
Thank you for everyone that is praying with us on this next part of his journey - the recovery and healing process! Only uphill from here! We will continue to keep our eyes lifted and our spirits high!💖
And thank you again for the encouragement along the way, our whole family feels the love ❤️

10/6/26 Post Surgery Update from the Mrs.

Surgery is complete and was an absolute SUCCESS!! The cancer is gone and all organs are repaired successfully!! All the PRAISE BE TO GOD!! 🙌🙌
The surgeons exact words were “everything best-case-scenario happened”!! A true miracle!!
I’m anxiously waiting to see Chad now but just wanted to update!🩵
THANK YOU for praying with us! the power of prayer is amazing and we serve a mighty, healing, miracle-working God!

10/6/26 Today is the day!
I have my hope and faith rooted in Christ that today will be a day of success and a fresh start to a cancer-free life for Chad!
Thank you all so much for the words of encouragement, kindness, thoughtfulness and most of all for praying with us.
Surgery is still scheduled for 12:00.
Updates will be posted as we can throughout the day.

10/5/26: Night #1 is in the books! I was admitted yesterday to start my surgery prep for Tuesday's procedure to remove the cancer from my body.

Today has been pretty uneventful. I'm on a clear liquid diet and they have started "cleansing" my system (not too fun).

I have a private room with an awesome view so I have no complaints.

Tomorrow's surgery is a pretty big one but I'm totally ready for it. As difficult as the road ahead might be I'm like "OK, well let's GO!"

10-3-26 Update from the Mrs.

Just wanted to give everyone an update as the big day we’ve been waiting for draws near! We’ve had a lot of people asking what the plan is this week so here we go!:

Chad is being admitted to the hospital tomorrow, Sunday. All of his medical teams decided this would be best to have him there for a couple days prior to surgery to “fine-tune” his body and make sure that he is in the best shape possible. We are totally fine and in agreement with this decision! They will be able to monitor all of the things on that end, so we know that this is what’s best to prepare him!❤️
Surgery is scheduled for Tuesday at 12:15. The doctors say it should last between 3 1/2 to 4 hours as long as everything goes as planned.🙏

It has been a rollercoaster of emotions and feelings these past couple of weeks! But we are keeping our faith and hope that this is all a part of God‘s perfect plan for Chad and that this is all in His perfect timing! We have confidence in that. 🙌
Chad has high spirits and will keep enduring! He has healed and come such a long way over these last 10 months and he is ready to overcome this, put it in the past, and move forward!

A few (well, there’s a lot!) specific prayer requests for those who ask and pray with us:
💙Good health and strength for Chads body and heart over these next few days prior to surgery, during surgery, and post surgery.
💙The team that will be performing the surgery- steady hands and knowledge for them.
💙For the team to be able to repair any organ that needs, and that all organ function can be “normal” post- surgery.
💙Peace over our girlies as we navigate through the week.
💙Safe travels, as I will be traveling back-and-forth to STL each day to be with Chad and then home to our girls in the evenings.

Thank you for always praying with and over us - we feel that more than ever! And thank you for checking in, loving on us, and showing us that you care in all the ways that you do! We always send our love right back to you! I will post updates as I can throughout the day on Tuesday.🩵
