This year’s gathering invites you into an intimate evening where Mexican wine, African tea intertwine—honoring the ways we gather, celebrate and remember across the African and Mexican diasporas.
🍷 Mexican Wine, Rooted in Place
Guided by Casa Guizpot, guests will explore a thoughtfully curated selection of Mexican wines that reflect regional terroir, heritage winemaking, and modern innovation—each pour offering a story of land, lineage, and craft.
☕ African Tea Rituals & Herbal Wisdom
Mawe Apothecary will lead guests through African tea traditions—from grounding honeybush to vibrant African teas—sharing the cultural, spiritual, and historical significance behind each brew and Mawe ties to farmers across the Diaspora & landstewardship.
🗣️ Cultural Story Circles (New for Vol. 3)
A heart-centered highlight of the evening, Cultural Story Circles invite attendees to share personal or ancestral stories connected to tea, wine, or traditional drinks from their own lineages. These intimate moments of reflection and listening weave a collective narrative of migration, memory, and belonging.
