Congratulations to Hikma’s Chris Edlin, Vice President, R&D and leader of our Columbus, Ohio, R&D hub, for being named a winner in the 2026 Innovators in Healthcare and Life Sciences Awards by Columbus Business First. Chris received awards in two categories, Executive Leadership and Research Innovation, and he was among a group of nominees from across Ohio. Chris leads R&D for Hikma's respiratory, nasal, semi-solid and liquid medicine development programs. He joined Hikma in October 2024 and his role is at the center of Hikma's mission: turning cutting-edge science into innovative everyday pharmaceutical solutions that transform people’s lives and put better health within reach every day.

Investing in the next generation of healthcare leaders starts with creating opportunities for learning and connection.

Hikma was proud to host Master of Health Administration students from The Ohio State University College of Public Health at our Columbus manufacturing and R&D site, where they learned more about the pharmaceutical industry, our mission, and the vital role pharmaceutical companies play in supporting patient care. Students also toured our manufacturing facility and gained a firsthand look at how high-quality medicines are produced.

Yesterday, we were delighted to welcome representatives from Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories to Hikma’s MENA headquarters in Amman, Jordan. The visit provided an opportunity for both teams to discuss ways to strengthen collaboration and explore further business opportunities across the region.

The discussions built on our recently announced exclusive licensing agreement for Nicotinell in MENA, a leading global ni****ne replacement therapy (NRT) brand, which enhances our consumer healthcare (CHC) portfolio, and reflects our shared commitment to expanding access to high-quality healthcare solutions for patients and communities across the region.

We are proud to host students at our Columbus site to provide them with a closeup look at how we make essential medicines for the millions of American patients who need them.

Through a tour of our facility and conversations with our experienced professionals, these high school and technical school students are seeing the skills and technologies we use in our best-in-class pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. Last week, we concluded the 8th Annual MENA Cancer Forum, Hikma Cancer Network 2026, bringing together more than 200 oncology professionals and over 20 international experts from across the region and beyond.

As oncology continues to evolve, scientific exchange and collaboration play an important role in advancing cancer care. The forum welcomed experts from leading institutions, including the MD Anderson Cancer Center, to share knowledge, exchange perspectives and discuss the latest developments in oncology.

By bringing healthcare professionals together to learn from one another and share expertise, we are helping advance oncology knowledge and support better outcomes for people living with cancer across the region.
