Today I remembered something I'd almost forgotten.

I'm actually really good at finding my way.

l've learned to trust the quiet compass inside me. It has carried me through unfamiliar countries, wrong turns, missed trains, and into moments that still take my breath away and remind me life has a deeper intelligence than I do.

Now this home on wheels just needs a name...

There's something quietly healing about returning to the places that first shaped us.

This weekend I spent time with my siblings in Tahoe, where so many of our childhood memories were made. We've all built our own lives, followed our own paths, and yet we continue to come home to this place.
It reminded me that maybe healthy roots aren't meant to keep us planted.

Maybe they're what give us the courage to leave, to become fully ourselves, and the freedom to return with gratitude for what first tormed us.

It feels fitting that this pilgrimage begins here.
From these roots... into the unknown.

For most of my life, I hid.

Somewhere along the way, as a little girl growing up in a large family, I quietly came to believe that my needs didn’t matter. No one sat me down and taught me that. It was simply the meaning I made.

What’s remarkable is that a belief doesn’t have to be true to shape an entire life.

That unquestioned belief found its way into nearly every relationship, every opportunity, every place I made myself a little smaller than I really was. I didn’t know I was doing it because living from a sense of lack simply felt like reality.

But what if reality isn’t as fixed as we imagine?

Whether through psychology, contemplative practice, or quantum physics, the observer matters. The beliefs we embody shape how we perceive, choose, relate, and create.

I no longer believe I was born lacking. I realize that I simply forgot, and perhaps that forgetting is part of being human.

We experience the shadow of what we are not so that, through living, loving, grieving, questioning, and healing, we remember what has always been true. Our worth isn’t earned, our abundance isn’t outside us, and the love we search for has always been our truest nature.

This pilgrimage is an expression of that remembering.

This pilgrimage called me. Something deeper than fear was inviting me, and I chose to trust it again.

So here I am.

Sharing thoughts once hidden and truths once softened. Allowing myself to be seen without knowing exactly where any of this leads.

What has surprised me most is the kindness I’ve been met with. Your messages remind me that perhaps we are all longing for the same thing: permission to stop hiding.

Maybe that’s why I’m sharing.

Not because I have answers, but when one of us lives a little more honestly, it quietly gives others permission to do the same.

When suffering persists, it’s an invitation to question the story I’ve been living from. When I’m willing to do that, I uncover something never broken in me to begin with.

With deep trust in your unfolding…

I love and believe in you,

Today i begin another pilgrimage.

Over the years, many people have asked me why I keep following these quiet inner callings that lead me to new places. I've sat with that question for a long time.

What I've come to realize is that my travels have never really been about seeing the world. They've been a homecoming.

Each place I've gone has gently stripped away another layer of who I thought I was supposed to be and brought me closer to who I truly am.
Some journeys begin with a plan. Mine usually begin with a quiet knowing I can't fully explain. I've learned not to argue with it anymore.

Life has never failed to meet me when I've trusted that inner pull.

So today I leave with far more curiosity than certainty, trusting that this road, like every one before it, is leading me exactly where I need to go.

Here's to following what quietly calls your name, even when you can't yet see where it leads.

02/08/2026

There comes a moment when you've gathered what you can, made the plans you know how to make, and the only thing left is to take the next step.

I've learned that certainty rarely comes before the decision. It comes because of the decision.
The future has never unfolded for me because I had every answer. It has unfolded because I was willing to move toward what felt true, even when I couldn't see very far ahead.

I believe life meets that kind of courage. Not because the path suddenly becomes easy, but because each step reveals the next one. Possibilities appear that could never have been imagined from where you began.

Tomorrow I begin another pilgrimage into the unknown. I'm bringing far more curiosity than certainty, and I have a feeling this journey has something to teach me that I couldn't learn by staying where I am.

Every meaningful chapter of my life has begun this way—with a quiet pull that didn't always make sense. And every single time, life has never failed to meet me there.

Not by giving me the journey I expected, but by giving me the one I needed.

Here's to following that quiet inner knowing, trusting the next step before you can see the whole path, and discovering the kind of magic that only reveals itself once we're willing to begin.

I can't wait to share this adventure with you.

What if life is not happening to us as much as it is inviting us into a deeper relationship with ourselves?

For a long time, I thought freedom meant getting what I wanted. If people would just behave differently, if circumstances would just change, if life would cooperate with my plans, then I could finally relax.

But over time I began to wonder if freedom begins somewhere else.

What if the experiences that trigger us are not evidence that something has gone wrong, but opportunities to become aware of something we have not yet seen?

What if life is not working against us, but revealing, again and again, where we are still afraid, contracted, or carrying old stories that no longer serve us?

That realization changed the way I relate to myself, to others, and to life itself. What once felt like obstacles began to look more like invitations. The trigger was no longer something to avoid or get rid of, but a doorway into greater awareness, curiosity, compassion, and ultimately, freedom.

Perhaps life is not happening to us as much as it is inviting us into a deeper relationship with ourselves.

This is the conversation we’ll be exploring tonight in our Sovereign Collective gathering as part of our June series, Learning to Stay.

Recently, while driving, I realized that I had been creating suffering for myself and didn't even know I was the one creating it.

I've always known I tend to drive fast. It was one of those things I laughed about. My father drove that way too, so I never thought much of it.

But recently I began noticing the dramatic difference between being in the fast lane and simply settling into the middle or slower lanes.

In the fast lane, my body contracts. I'm watching who is in front of me, who is behind me, who might cut me off, who is going too slow, whether there are cops ahead, and whether I can get around the next cluster of cars. My attention narrows and my nervous system becomes consumed by getting somewhere.

But when I move over and stop trying to get ahead, something unexpected happens. My body softens, my attention widens, and I begin to notice the mountains, the sky, and the beauty that had been there all along.

The road hasn't changed, but my experience of it changes completely.

And then it dawned on me that the way I drive is not separate from the way I live.

Just as the path is life, the vehicle is the body, and the driver is presence.

Perhaps much of our suffering comes not from the road we're on, but from how tightly we're gripping the wheel.

Because when fear is holding the wheel, everything feels urgent. There is never enough time, enough space, or enough room.

But when love is holding the wheel, suddenly there is room for everyone.

The path remains the same, yet the experience of traveling it becomes entirely different.

And maybe life is continually asking us the same question:

Who is holding the wheel?

It is precisely because of every twist, every heartbreak, every road less traveled I never planned to walk that I’ve come to love the woman I am today. Not in spite of my story, but because of it.

And honestly, I feel so much gratitude for all of it now. The unraveling, the cracking open, the moments I thought might break me but somehow softened and opened my heart instead.

So much love for every version of me that kept walking anyway.

Let’s keep trusting. Let’s keep walking. I can’t wait to see what’s around the river bend.

Because this is how the magic enters in (especially when we believe it will). ✨
