Battling with Ben On August 10, 2024, Ben was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor at Children's Nebraska.

After being misdiagnosed twice it was finally determined that Ben has an extremely rare form of Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma of the brain and central nervous system.

Last night, Ella’s friend sent us a video and picture of Sergeant Bluff’s Daniel Wright. Daniel plays for the Kannapolis. They are the farm club of the Chicago White Sox. They had their annual Starry Night benefit pediatric brain cancer game last night. Daniel honored Ben at the game. Needless to say, it brought tears to our eyes!❤️

Day 223: check up day at Nebraska Med. No scans today just bloodwork for our boy. We met with Ben’s Oncology PA and his radiologist oncologist. They said he is looking good and he received his next 3 vaccines. As long as he continues to feel good they will do scan in 3 months. We are so thankful for his medical team. ❤️
