It’s been a little quiet over here, but Apron & Overalls has definitely still been happening! 😊

This summer was BUSY~ in the best ways. I was blessed to spend time with family and also spent a lot of time preparing for a very large event with a whole lot of moving parts. It turned out beautifully, but it definitely took over much of my extra time.

So while I haven’t been posting much, I’ve still been cooking, decorating, organizing and doing all the things around the house. ❤️

Tonight’s dinner was chicken legs, sautéed cabbage with onions, garlic and bell peppers, roasted broccoli, pinto beans that I soaked and cooked with sautéed onions and garlic, and a sweet potato. Nothing fancy, just a good home-cooked meal with plenty left for another day. 🍗🥦🫘🍠

And then there’s the other side of Apron & Overalls… pumpkins EVERYWHERE as I finally get the house ready for fall. 😂🎃🍂

So yes, Apron & Overalls has still been happening, just haven’t had much time to share it.

Another batch of homemade yogurt in the works! This is one of those things that sounds like a lot of work until you get used to making it and then it just becomes part of the routine.

☕ Something new is brewing at Aprons & Overalls!

After 8 years with our old coffee maker, we’ve officially upgraded…and now we have to figure out what all these buttons do. 😂

We’re definitely not experts — but that’s half the fun.

☕ Well, hello there, Aprons & Overalls! 👋🏾

It’s been a little quiet over here. Life has been LIFE-ING ~ traveling, family, events, and a very full summer. 😂

But look what finally arrived! 👀☕ Our new coffee maker!

We played around with it a little today, and I managed to make myself a cup, but we have a LOT to learn.

I already told my husband that once life settles down a little, we’re going to start from the beginning and take you along as we figure this thing out. No experts over here , just two people reading directions, pushing buttons and hoping good coffee comes out. 😂

For now, consider this your little teaser.

Aprons & Overalls is still here. ❤️ And I’ve missed sharing our everyday life with you!
