A dream that’s been living in my heart, a vision that’s becoming a reality, and a group of beautiful women about to become part of the New Leaf story in a whole new way.

Our first international retreat. Our first little piece of Mozambique magic. And a reminder of what can happen when you dare to dream beyond what you know.

5 Wellness Trends more naturally for calming my gut and soothing bloating.

As a health coach, you question every trend, the noise around bloat & gut health is very loud. I’m less interested in what’s 'trending' and more interested in what actually supports you, consistently, sustainably, and without making food complicated. But these natural practical trends has been great in my routine. And with personal experience, I've learnt soothing my belly doesn't have to be overpriced products or let's try this now, but natural healing ingredients that you sometimes already have in the kitchen.

Give yourself permission to outgrow 🩵

Some people are for a season.
Some places are for a chapter.
Some versions of you are simply meant to be left behind.

And that's okay.

I’ve had seasons where leaving felt uncomfortable, but learnt that not everything you outgrow needs to have been wrong. Sometimes, it was exactly what you needed at the time.

There was guilt, questions and temptation to stay simply because something was familiar. But familiarity isn't always where we belong.

A new leaf sometimes means leaving the old page behind. People. Places. Patterns. Versions of ourselves.

Not with resentment. With gratitude for what they taught us and permission to keep growing. Sometimes growth asks us to make peace with what was, and make space for what’s next.

You can be grateful for where you’ve been and still have faith for where you’re going ✨️

At New Leaf, we believe what happens around the table matters just as much as what happens on the mat, in conversation, inner-work or by the ocean.

Our retreat meals are colourful, wholesome, balanced and made with intention; from nourishing early morning breakfast snacks and beautiful brunches to snacks and slow dinners shared around the table. This we call the Art of Gathering 🌿

I cook the way I believe food should be made: with whole fresh ingredients, variety, flavour and a whole lot of love. Wellness begins with balance, so our philosophy is centered on that and mindful cooking.

Rest before you're exhausted 🌿

You don’t have to wait until your body says enough.
Until your mind is overwhelmed.
Until you have nothing left to give.

Rest isn’t something you earn after giving everyone and everything your best.

It is part of caring for yourself.

Give yourself permission to pause while there is still something left in you.

Take the afternoon off.
Go for the slow walk.
Put your feet up.
Say no to one more thing.
Do absolutely nothing for a while.

You are allowed to rest before you break.

Sometimes the most intentional thing you can do is stop 🤍

We’re often so focused on where we’re going that we forget to look back at how far we’ve already come. 🤍

Think about the woman you were a year ago.

The things she didn’t know yet.
The things she was carrying.
The things she survived quietly.
The moments she thought she wouldn’t get through.

And yet, here you are.

Maybe you’re not where you thought you’d be. Maybe there’s still so much you want to change. But that doesn’t erase the distance you’ve travelled.

Give yourself permission to be proud of the woman who kept going.

Not because everything is perfect.
But because you’re still becoming 🌿

Women are exhausted not just because they’re doing too much… but because they’re 'available for too much.'

Every request.
Every problem.
Every expectation.
Every person who needs something.

And then comes the guilt when you finally say, 'I can’t!'

Ooohh, how I have experience with this and literally need a constant reminder when it comes to boundaries.

Give yourself permission to:
✨️ set the boundary without having to justify it.

You can be kind and still say no.
You can love someone and still have limits.
You can care deeply and still protect your capacity.

A boundary isn’t rejection. It’s simply knowing where you end and someone else begins. And perhaps one of the most powerful things a woman can learn is this:

✨️ Disappointing someone else occasionally is healthier than continually abandoning yourself.

This is a hard pill to swallow... I know cause I even offer mindset coaching on this, its not as simple as it sounds.

I remind myself, I'm taking my freedom. I'm protecting the life I'm creating. And I don't need to apologise for it.
