♿ TO PARK OR NOT TO PARK? ♿
For some amputees, using a designated disability parking bay is a no-brainer. For others, it can bring hesitation, guilt or the worry of being judged.

But here’s something worth remembering: not all disabilities are visible, and every amputee’s journey is different.

Sometimes, that extra distance can take more out of an individual with limb loss than people realise. And sometimes, saving that energy means having a little more left for the things that matter.

💬 Do you use designated disabled parking permit confidently, or have you ever hesitated because you worried about what others might think?

♿️ Remember: Parking in a designated disability parking bay without a valid, displayed permit is illegal and can lead to fines, wheel-clamping or vehicle towing.

👟 Sneakers for busy days? Absolutely.
👠 Heels for the office? Yes, please!
💃 Dressing up for a night out? Why not!

Let's talk wardrobe, ladies!
From sneakers and sandals to your favourite pair of heels, your wardrobe should reflect your personal style and need not be defined by your amputation.

💬 Has your wardrobe changed since your amputation, or are you still rocking your favourite styles? 👇

Some journeys are easier when we move forward together.
Much like cycling, life after limb loss comes with its uphill battles, unexpected turns and moments when the road ahead feels impossible. It takes courage, determination and a whole lot of hard work.

A community that understands your challenges, celebrates your progress and encourages you when the going gets tough can help you discover just how much is possible.
The journey may be yours, but you don't have to travel it alone.

Packing for travel as an amputee? ✈️ Daniel does it a little differently.
Clothes are the easy part. What really matters are the essentials that keep him moving:

🧦 Extra silicone liner – So he's not left stranded if something happens to his existing liner.
🧦 Volume sock – Changes in altitude and temperature can affect the volume of his residual limbs.
🧴 Alcohol spray – He keeps a small bottle handy in case airport security asks him to remove his prostheses. Always check airline and airport liquid restrictions.
🔩 Allen key – Useful if any screws connecting his prosthetic feet to the sockets become loose. Since some airports restrict tools in hand luggage, he packs this in his checked baggage.
⚙️ Spare valve – An important part of his suction suspension system. If the valve becomes damaged, it can compromise the suction that keeps his prosthesis securely in place.

What's one essential you never travel without?

The ride may be over, but the impact continues. 💙🚵‍♂️
As Travis reflects on his journey, one thing stands out: this campaign has always been about more than cycling. It’s about challenging perceptions, creating opportunities and reminding us that movement is a right, not a privilege.
