The kettle. The lemon. The walk to the same chair.
The same sunrise two mornings in a row.
This is not a morning routine.
This is me telling my nervous system every single day, in the smallest possible way that there is a moment that belongs to no one but me.
Ritual is not about perfection or productivity or five steps before seven am.
Ritual is repetition with intention.
And a nervous system that learns safety through repetition starts to believe something it may never have been told that you are worth the pause.
That the morning is yours before it belongs to anyone else.
Start somewhere small.
A kettle. A window. A lemon.
Do it again tomorrow.
