Under the gold, her teeth were decaying so she made a decision to remove it. She has a brand new smile and no more decay. Two composite restorations for this patirnt and she is back to smiling confidently.

It was fate that her gold "T" inlay came off because she then had the opportunity to restore her smile to one she last saw 16 years ago. And what a beautiful smile it is. Two composite veneers for this patient who was wowed with the after!

A really good result for a denture wearer who finally is "plate free". A composite fibre reinforced bridge is a one visit procedure that is a permanent replacement. It is less invasive than a traditional metal or zirconia bridge because it does not require the anchoring teeth to be drilled down. More affordable than traditional bridges, a fibre reinforced composite bridge can change your smile for the better!

This was a post from 2021, it didn't get the love it deserves. Sometimes, you can't tell which posts will resonate with patients but this one was definitely a winner.

*****After wearing a denture for 4 years, this patient was looking to be free from it. She drove from Kokstad without even coming in for a consult on blind faith that we would be able to change her smile AND WE DID! What a huge transformation! Finally, she can enjoy the freedom that comes with a fibre reinforced composite bridge.***

Do you have acid reflux? Do you love sour or acid foods and drinks? Do you love brushing hard? This patient had layers of her enamel wear away because of these three factors. We were able to give her a fuller smile with composite veneers. She was so happy to see her teeth fixed.

It was a bit of a shock when we removed this patient's gold crown. Underneath was a tooth smaller than a rice grain. We cannot tell what we will find under the gold as xrays cannot "see" through it. It was a complete transformation for her bottom teeth as she also wanted to close the spaces between her teeth. The end result was totally worth the drive from Eshowe, she said.
