Wild Mushrooms Tonic
The story : it all started on a nature adventure ,with the privilege of meeting an incredible patch of deep red reishi growing on a huuge Eucalyptus log. The reishi was so biiig with multiple shelves so I harvested just one medium sized bracket which was plenty to process and alchemize with , I added the freshly cut pieces to a jar of organic apple vinegar with the vision to add layers of other mushrooms which were abundantly growing on the land here , the artist Conk also a lesser famed but super medicinal reishi family mushroom grows deep in our forests in abundance ( some of the conks are ancient and literally bigger than my head) and the incredibly captivating turkey tail mushrooms which also grow on Eucalyptus and other wood in abundace all around our gardens ... each mushrooms added to the brew fresh in layeer. This combination was shaken daily for 2 months + and medicine of the mushroom extracted into the vinegar.
When this was complete I worked with a water extraction boiling the mushrooms down with some water and more vinegar for hours🔥 to finish off i combined in some Jaggery and Molasses for some sweetness, savoury ,loads of minerals and all important preservation properties and then added in the first long steeped mushroom vinegar extract . and finally we have Fae Botanicals Wild Mushroom Tonic!
I love that this preparation is one which can be played with in culinary dishes , adding some incredible flavour and medicine to your broths , glazes, sauces....
It can also be taken as is by the spoonful for as tonic daily or as needed
It is wonderful as an overall health tonic , immunity support, the turkey tail is also beneficial for the gut ( prebiotic) and the reishis are soo beneficial for the nervous system - calming ,peaceful ,equanimity, they can help with getting deeper states of rest :)

Kept in a cool spot this preparation is stable for up to 2 months and best used within this time freshest or you can refrigerate if you would like it to last longer :)
