So, youâve been working out regularly, eating right, and youâre not progressing at all? That often happens when the training programme needs to be changed. If youâre repeating the same exercises, you may get to the point where itâs no longer a workout, or some muscles are strong while others have been totally neglected.
Hereâs how to tell:
â1. You're just not progressing: You're using the same weights, doing the same reps, and your fitness or strength hasn't improved for several weeks. A good programme should include progressive overload, not just repeated workouts.
â2. You're working hard, but your results have stalled: You're exercising consistently, but your strength, fitness, muscle mass, or body-composition goals aren't changing. More exercise isn't necessarily the answer; the programme may need adjusting.
â3. Your workouts don't match your goal. You want to build muscle, improve running performance, lose body fat or become stronger, but your workouts are simply a collection of exercises rather than a programme designed around that specific goal.
Don't just exercise. Train with purpose. Work out the RITE way with me.
