A little disagreement in the bush, and an audience to go with it.

Two aardwolves appear to be having a difference of opinion, while two warthogs watch from the sidelines. Whether they’re curious or simply enjoying the show, they certainly have front-row seats.

Who do you think is more interested in the drama, the warthogs or us watching from the other side of the camera?

Big ears, curious faces and plenty of character.

Bat-eared foxes are some of the bush’s most distinctive little residents. Their enormous ears aren’t just for show; they help them pick up the sounds of insects moving underground, making them excellent hunters of termites and other small invertebrates.

Have you ever been lucky enough to spot a bat-eared fox at Mabula Private Game Reserve?

Playtime with Mum is always a little chaotic.

Queen and her little cheetah cubs are turning a simple interaction into a playful wrestling match. For these youngsters, playfighting is more than just fun; it helps them build coordination, practise their hunting skills and learn how to interact with other cheetahs.

Queen has her paws full with these energetic little ones.

Mabula’s famous tree-climbing cheetah cubs are at it again.

This time, one of Atsile’s little cubs made it up the tree, but quickly discovered that getting back down was a whole different challenge.

World Animal Day is the perfect excuse to celebrate some serious playtime.

Two of Atsile’s little cheetah cubs are busy chasing, pouncing and wrestling with each other. For young cheetahs, play is an important part of growing up, helping them develop coordination, confidence and the skills they’ll need later in life.

For now, though, it’s simply two siblings having fun.

Which cub do you think started this wrestling match?
