Although breast cancer is far more common in women, men have a small amount of breast tissue and can get breast cancer. According to Breastcancer.org, because there are relatively few cases of breast cancer in men compared to women, there is less research on male breast cancer.
It is therefore important to see your doctor straight away if you notice any changes in the breast, chest, or armpit.

• A firm lump in the breast, often under the ni**le
• A lump in the armpit
• Ni**le pain
• Ni**le turning inward
• Clear or bloody ni**le discharge
• Sores or rash on the ni**le and ar**la
• Breast skin changes, such as irritation, redness, dimpling, or puckering
• Changes in the size or shape of the breast.

Men can develop other types of abnormal lumps or masses of tissue in the breast that are not cancer and do not spread further than the breast. Or the breast tissue can grow, called gynecomastia, and is first felt as a lump of fatty tissue under the ni**le which may be sensitive but is non-cancerous.

If you notice any abnormalities, don’t panic but do visit your doctor early, and when changes first become apparent.
