This past Saturday, I had the privilege of attending the pre-congress Introduction to Surgical Leadership Workshop, ahead of the South African Society of Medical Managers National Conference.

I was invited to represent Surgicom on a panel discussion on leading surgical services across the public–private divide, an important conversation around strengthening collaboration between the two sectors and improving the delivery of surgical care.

It was a valuable opportunity to exchange perspectives with hospital managers, CEOs, government representatives and leaders from the private healthcare sector.
