Cocktail hour? We don’t know her. There’s a new hottie on the block named tea hour 🥵☕️

At VULA, we’re all for making tea time your favourite ritual of the day. Whether it’s loose-leaf tea, tea bags or iced tea, pair it with your sweet treat of choice, and you’re all set for the rest of the day. 🍪

Tell us your favourite teas or tea combinations in the comments below! 🫖🍵

And somehow, Vula is turning 6.

Six years of trying things, changing things, making things work, some hard challenges, fixing thing, learning, feeding, growing and being able to always just keep on going by the people who decide to wander through.

Thank you.

Here’s to six years and many more to come! 🥂

Are you a local homegrower or creator in Pretoria? 🍅🧶🌿

At VULA, we believe in keeping things local, supporting small businesses, and creating a space where our community can share what they grow and make. That’s why we open our shelves to local growers, makers and creators whose beautiful, thoughtful products we think belong at VULA.
Do you grow something special at home? Make something with your hands? Or have a little business you’d love to see on our shelves?
We’d love to hear from you.

And if you know someone who grows, makes or creates something that would feel right at VULA, please send them this post!

As Women’s Month comes to an end, we want to shine some light on the women who complete the VULA puzzle. 🩷🫀

It’s so important for us to celebrate these women and their businesses throughout the year, and not only during Women’s Month.

Thank you for every delivery, every smile, and for the outstanding products you bring to VULA. We’re so grateful to have you as part of our little puzzle.

Ons glo die mooiste middae kan nie gejaag word nie. Hulle word stadig geleef, met eerlike musiek, eenvoudige kos en mense om dieselfde tafel.

Kom luister hoe Bacchus Nel die winter ’n bietjie warmer maak.

Ya Bana Village for the Children holds a special place in our hearts. 💚 They were VULA Food Shack's very first fresh produce supplier, and over the years we've come to know them as an incredible organisation doing life-changing work. We're honoured to continue supporting them, and we'd love for our community to do the same this Mandela Day.

🌼You're Invited to Ya Bana Village's Mandela Day Open Day & Community Market!🌼
Join them on Friday 17, Saturday 18 July and Sunday 19 July for an uplifting weekend at Ya Bana Village for the Children.
Meet the wonderful children, enjoy a guided tour, spend 67 minutes making a difference, browse the community market, and enjoy delicious homemade food.
If you're able, please bring a grocery, household, or clothing donation to help them continue caring for their children.
We hope you'll join us in supporting this beautiful organisation and experience the heart of Ya Bana for yourself. ❤️
📍 Find them on Google Maps by searching "Ya Bana Village for the Children."

Winter Scenes at VULA 🍊

There’s something about winter light. It catches the steam from your coffee, the texture of a citrus peel, the colours of fresh produce, reminding us to notice what’s already here.

Winter asks something different of us. To slow down. To cook slower, eat slower, stay a little longer.

Pop by the shack this weekend and fill your basket with good things for the season 🌿
