The best tools are clear, practical, structured, and easy to return to when they’re needed most.

At Practice Pantry, we believe mental health resources should be both beautiful and useful — designed with real-life support in mind.

NADA Auricular Acupuncture Training Course. Qualify as a NADA Auricular Detoxification Specialist (ADS)

This NADA Auricular Acupuncture Training Course offers healthcare practitioners and community workers a practical, evidence-informed intervention to support individuals struggling with substance use disorders, Stress, smoking cessation, insomnia, trauma and emotional dysregulation.

Videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X0RQCzOhgbo , https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tNdLVG37VEc ,

The NADA (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association) protocol is a standardised five-point auricular acupuncture approach that has been used internationally for decades as an adjunctive treatment in addiction recovery, mental health services, disaster response, and correctional and community-based programmes.

Why NADA? Evidence-Informed Practice

Research and clinical programme outcomes, including those associated with Lincoln Memorial Hospital–linked NADA programmes, have demonstrated that the NADA protocol may:
• Reduce cravings and withdrawal-related distress
• Improve emotional regulation and sleep
• Support engagement and retention in addiction treatment programmes
• Enhance outcomes when used alongside counselling, psychotherapy, and medical care

Importantly, NADA is non-verbal, non-confrontational, and group-friendly, making it especially valuable for clients who struggle with insight-based or purely talk-based interventions during early recovery phases.

The protocol does not replace psychotherapy or medical treatment, but functions as a powerful adjunct that stabilises the nervous system and supports readiness for deeper therapeutic work.

A Unique Intervention in Addiction Treatment

NADA auricular acupuncture is unique because it:
• Can be delivered in group or individual settings
• Requires minimal verbal processing
• Is culturally adaptable and trauma-informed
• Supports clients who are ambivalent, dysregulated, or emotionally shut down
• Integrates seamlessly into rehabilitation centres, private practice, community outreach, and multidisciplinary teams

This makes it particularly effective in early recovery, relapse prevention, and harm-reduction contexts.

You can’t hate yourself into a version of yourself you love.

If being hard on yourself worked, it would have worked by now.

Many of us believe that if we stop criticizing ourselves, we’ll become lazy or stop achieving. But research shows the exact opposite. Self-criticism raises cortisol (stress) and kills motivation. Self-compassion builds resilience and grit.

It’s time to put down the heavy stick you’ve been using to drive yourself forward.

Introducing The Self-Compassion & Healing Toolkit.

This 71-page guide is grounded in the research of Dr. Kristin Neff and Dr. Christopher Germer. It’s not just "positive affirmations"—it’s a set of psychological protocols to help you heal the parts of you that feel unworthy.

Inside, you will find the tools to:

❤️ Silence the Inner Critic: Replace harsh judgment with the voice of a supportive ally .
🛡️ Heal Toxic Shame: Move from believing "I am bad" to knowing "I made a mistake" .
🏆 Dismantle Perfectionism: Learn the vital difference between healthy striving and the paralyzing fear of failure .
🌿 Practice Body Compassion: Stop viewing your body as an ornament to be fixed and start treating it with respect .

Stop waiting until you are "perfect" to be kind to yourself. Start today.
