🌙 Why does your shoulder hurt more at night?
You make it through the day… then you get into bed, and suddenly your shoulder starts aching.
You’re not imagining it.

Night-time shoulder pain can happen because certain sleeping positions place pressure on an already irritated shoulder. Conditions such as rotator cuff problems, bursitis, frozen shoulder, or shoulder arthritis can become particularly painful when you lie on the affected side or keep your shoulder in one position for a long time.
And if the pain is regularly waking you up, don’t simply accept it as “just getting older.”

Your shoulder may be telling you that something needs attention.
🎥 Watch the video to understand why shoulder pain can feel worse at night and what your sleeping position may have to do with it.

What Happens When Your Achilles Tendon Tears?

The Achilles tendon is one of the most important structures involved in walking, running and pushing off with your foot.
When it ruptures, the connection between the calf muscles and heel is disrupted. This can make it difficult to push off, stand on your toes or walk normally.

But what happens next?

Depending on the injury and the individual patient, an Achilles rupture may be treated with structured non-surgical rehabilitation or surgical repair.

When surgery is appropriate, the torn tendon can be precisely brought back together using strong sutures. In certain repairs, suture anchors are used to secure the tendon to the heel bone, restoring the connection between the tendon and calcaneus.
And the repair is only the beginning.

Healing, rehabilitation and progressive strengthening are essential to gradually restore movement, strength and function.
If you experience sudden pain or a popping sensation at the back of your ankle, seek medical assessment promptly.

đź’Ş Your shoulder and elbows are doing more than you think!

Every push-up puts your upper body to work. Your shoulder muscles help stabilise the joint, while your triceps straighten your elbows as you push yourself back up.

🎥 Take a look inside a push-up and discover the anatomy behind every rep.

🏀 EVERY THROW STARTS AT THE SHOULDER. But what happens inside? 👀

When you throw a ball, your shoulder does more than move your arm. Your rotator cuff helps stabilise the joint, while your muscles coordinate to generate and control movement.
From the wind-up to the release, your shoulder works through a complex sequence of motion — and it all happens in seconds.

đź’Ş What actually happens inside a push-up?

A push-up looks simple, but your shoulder and elbow are working together through every repetition.

As you lower your body, the shoulder muscles help stabilise the joint while your elbow bends and controls the movement. As you push back up, your triceps extend the elbow while the shoulder and surrounding muscles work together to keep everything stable.

It’s not just about strength it’s about coordination, stability and controlled movement.

A broken ankle is more than “just a twist.”

When an ankle fracture occurs, one or more of the bones that make up the ankle joint can crack or break often involving the tibia, fibula or talus.

Pain, swelling, bruising and difficulty putting weight on the foot can all be signs that something more serious has happened.
The important thing? Don’t try to walk it off. Get it properly assessed.

A broken bone doesn’t just “knit itself back together.” 🦴

Your body starts repairing the damage almost immediately.
First, a fracture hematoma forms around the break. Then a soft callus begins bridging the gap. Over time, this develops into new hard bone. Finally, the bone remodels itself, gradually restoring its shape and strength.

From fracture → repair → new bone → remodelling → healing, your body has an incredible built-in repair process.
But not every fracture heals perfectly on its own. Proper assessment and treatment are important to make sure the bone heals in the right position.

Ever wondered what actually happens inside your hand when you grip something? 👀✊🏾

It looks like a simple movement, but your grip is a carefully coordinated process.
Your forearm muscles contract. Your tendons transmit the force. Your finger joints bend. And all of these structures work together to give you strength, control and precision.
From holding a phone to gripping a tennis racket, opening a door or picking up a cup — your hands are doing far more than you realise.

Take a look inside… a grip. 🦴
