Happy to finish another no scalpel vasectomy list at Golden Grove Family Health today.

This is a service that we started here this year to make this form of male contraception more accessible to the men in the northern suburbs of Adelaide.

It is all thanks to the hardworking teams at Better Medical’s Golden Grove Family Health (Better Medical) and MSI Australia (MSI Australia) for helping to make this happen!

For men who would prefer to be sedated for their procedure, you can book an appointment with me at Burnside Day Surgery (Burnside Day Surgery) for an initial consultation, as we also have the option of involving an anaesthetist to administer IV sedation.

Finding these BEFORE they become symptomatic usually means simpler treatment options and smaller scars when surgical excision is required.

Skin checks can be performed by skin cancer trained GPs and dermatologists.

I perform skin checks at Hahndorf Medical Centre, Kings Park Clinic, and Skin Matters in Burnside.

Some examples of what some common skin cancers can look like:

1. SCC on the nose
2. BCC on the back
3. BCC on the forehead
4. BCC on the chest
5. BCC on the leg
6. BCC on the ankle
7. BCC on the lower lip

All lesions were able to be treated by excision in clinic/day surgery.

I conduct skin checks at Skin Matters Burnside, Hahndorf Medical Centre, and Kings Park Clinic. Skin cancers can be treated at these locations. Privately insured patients can also receive treatment at Burnside Day Surgery (IV sedation available).

1. Pigmented SCC in-situ on the forearm
2. Acantholytic SCC in-situ on the ear

Both treated in the clinic under local anaesthesia.
