For a long time, I thought I had to fix everything
My relationships, my confidence, my motivation, my stability and my reactions all felt like separate problems.
It felt like there was always another issue to solve.
Always more healing to be done
The more I learned about personal growth, the more things I found to work on.
At times I felt like I had swapped one treadmill for another.
It wasn't just life that was wearing me out...
Now I had healing burnout on top of it
Because I was repeating old patterns in new ways
The answer isn't always to do more
Everything finally clicked when I got a deeper, practical understanding of my inner capacity and how things build up in the body
I started becoming more aware of myself when I got overwhelmed.
I noticed what that felt like, the emotions I experienced, and how my self talk changed.
One day when my phone crashed I realised how similar we were
My inner capacity was like a phone on battery-saver mode with no wifi.
The phone still had all its apps and capabilities.
The information was still there.
But with a low battery and no internet, I couldn't access anything
It felt familiar...
When I was in survival mode, I had less access too
To clarity, creativity, perspective, patience, confidence, you name it.
Those things hadn't disappeared.
I just couldn't reliably access my own resources.
And I realised I didn't need to spend all my energy trying to fix every single problem.
I could start with the one thing that connected them all.
My own capacity and inner state.
When I learned how to work on this level, something interesting happened.
🧠I had more of myself available
💭I had more capacity and more clarity
🧘🏼♀️I had more patience, more choice, and more of my own inner resources available
The problems in my life didn't magically disappear.
But the way I was meeting them changed.
And that made everything feel different.
This became central to how I work with clients today: shifting from trying to fix everything, to starting with what changes how you meet everything.
What would it be like to have more access to more of your own inner resources?
And what ripple effect would that create in your life...
