Gorgeous Ayni.
Does anyone else love watching them 'get that spot' and really get into it?
I always want to go scratch'em and sometimes I do, though I don't think I'm as good as a tree branch 😁

Alert. The boys were concerned about the burn-off in the neighbouring paddock, though are never concerned when we have fires.

When they are worried about something, I always go to the 'frontline' and reassure them. That way they learn to trust my guidance in what is scary and what is ok.

It was funny when I went down to Yachaq, Nuna & Apu at the fenceline, they couldn't even see the fire. It seemed counter productive to me 🤔.

It was also interesting as I observe Inti and Yaku usually being the Lieutenants, so was unusual who positioned themselves where. I love watching and learning about their herd dynamics.

Changes in our 'work' side ...

Finally I can share that our new name change is 'Wild Heart Equine Learning'.

As we are looking toward some big longer term goals, our business structure has had to be shuffled around, a bit like a sliding puzzle Remember them?

Sacred Horse Medicine has been moved to another slot for another time. Not to be forgotten; I have some big future dreams around that space.

Wild Heart Equine Learning now sits more aligned alongside Wild Heart Brumbies as the Facilitated Learning branch. (WHB remains focused on my personal horse journey with the boys, horse & Brumby advocacy, and will soon also hold Art and other related products - exciting).

The biggest change for this space, Wild Heart Equine Learning, is that our Shamanic work will be (publically) put on hold for awhile. We will be going deeper into the Learning aspect, and no doubt some Ceremony & Ritual will weave its way into time with the horses.

There is more news to announce a soon as I can.

Our current offerings at Wild Heart Equine Learning (WHEL) are ...

🐎 Wild Heart Gatherings - monthly informal catch ups with the horses

🐎 Private Equine Facilitated Learning sessions - 1:1 and small groups

🐎 Group Equine Facilitated Learning sessions - workshops, intensives, circles, mini-retreats

As the end of the year fast approaches, there is still some availability for private sessions and I hope to still squeeze in a couple of public events. If you would like to book a session, please comment below or PM me

Dishwasher duty ...

These two are simply adorable. Ayni (seal point - black brown) is the more serious of the two. Yaku (buckskin) is more of a larrakin and loves buckets with or without food. If someone tries to steal his food he has been known to pick up his bucket and trot off with it. Not so funny is when he attempts to steal and picks up someone else's dinner, often with their head still immersed, and walks away with bucket in mouth.
