Your diagnosis is part of your story. It doesn't have to become your identity.
Too often I see people who have spent years being defined by a diagnosis, following protocols designed for a condition rather than receiving the care designed for THEM.
A diagnosis can be incredibly validating. Finally having a name for what you've been experiencing MATTERS.
But I believe the investigation shouldn't stop there.
Two people with the same diagnosis can have entirely different genetics, biochemical imbalances, environmental exposures, nutritional deficiencies, immune responses and life experiences.
So why would we assume they need the same approach?
In my clinical practice, im interested in understanding the person behind the diagnosis.
What contributed to their health challenges? Which systems are interconnected? What might be driving their symptoms or preventing recovery?
Your diagnosis deserves to be a knowledged, But your individuality deserves to be investigated.
You are more than your diagnosis.
And you deserve healthcare that recognises that.
