There’s no such thing as a silly question πŸŽƒ

Every one of these has landed in our inbox.. and honestly, we’d much rather you ask first than plough ahead.

Where do the pads go? Can I use my TENS machine in the shower? Why can’t I feel the sensation? It’s all fair game.

We’ve just updated our FAQ page with answers on pad placement, using your device and getting the most from your pain relief routine.

Can’t find what you’re after? Reach out and you’ll get a real Aussie customer support specialist on the other end (hi Josh πŸ‘‹)

Josh’s two cents - World Cup edition.

What a weekend of footy. The standout: Fiji’s Bulikula women claiming their first-ever World Cup victory, a 40-4 win over PNG. A massive moment for the team and for the game - well played.

Our PainPod of the week goes to Taina Naividi tainanaividi - named player of the match and central to everything Fiji did well. A brilliant performance.

Taina, if you’d like a PainPod to help you recover after a huge weekend, our DMs are open - no strings attached, we’d genuinely love to send you one.

What a World Cup it’s shaping up to be.

That’s our two cents - see you next round.

Here’s a good reason to get outside this week 🐦

The Aussie Bird Count runs 19-25 October. It’s Australia’s largest citizen science event, and all it takes is 20 minutes in your backyard, on your balcony or at your local park.

Swipe to meet Australia’s most-seen birds, learn how to tell the tricky lookalikes apart, and see how to take part.

Our suggestion: pop on your PainPod, choose a massage-style program and settle in for some fresh air and birdsong while you count.

Know someone who’d love this? Share it with them - the more people who count, the better the picture of how our birds are going.

Josh’s two cents - World Cup edition. Footy’s back.

What an opener! Australia edging New Zealand 24-22 in a genuine classic on Thursday night. Exactly why we love this time of year.

Great to see Fiji’s women make their World Cup debut too - that’s what the tournament’s all about.

Our PainPod of the week is Kalyn Ponga: a freakish two try debut for the Kiwis, the kind of performance you don’t forget. Gutted to hear he’s facing surgery on that arm; wishing him a smooth recovery and a quick road back. π™†π˜Όπ™‡π™”π™‰ π™‹π™Šπ™‰π™‚π˜Ό, if you’d like a PainPod for the recovery ahead, our DMs are open, no strings attached, we’d genuinely love to send you one.

What a start to the World Cup!

That’s our two cents, see you next round.

How long do TENS pads last? Usually 20 to 60 sessions.

It depends on your skin, how you store your pads and how you handle them. Oilier skin, sweat and hair can all wear them faster.

Two habits make the biggest difference. Start with clean, dry skin, and lift each pad from its edge, never by the wire. Then put it straight back on its liner and store it flat, away from heat and direct sun.

If the edges lift or the sensation feels patchy, it's time for a fresh set. πŸ™‚

Can you sleep with a TENS device on? No.

The directions for use are clear: PainPod must not be used while sleeping, and no timer, auto shut-off or low setting changes that.

When you are asleep you cannot adjust the intensity, notice a pad shifting or stop a session if something feels off. Wires and controls can get disturbed too.

What we suggest instead: use your device in the evening while you are awake, for a 20 to 30 minute session. Then remove the pads and switch it off before bed. πŸ™‚

You didn’t quit TENS. You quit the wrong device.

A wired unit that never left the drawer. Too many buttons. Pads that didn’t suit how you move.

Different bodies and routines suit different devices - wearable, wired, or a bit of both.

The right TENS machine is the one you actually reach for.
