One number on the jar, a whole lot of bush behind it. 🍯
MGO stands for methylglyoxal, a natural compound found in manuka honey. It starts in the nectar of manuka flowers, which the bees bring back to the hive. As the honey rests, that nectar slowly turns into MGO.
The number on the jar tells you exactly how much is inside. 750 MGO means 750mg of MGO in every kilo of honey. The higher the number, the rarer the honey.
Every batch of our Australian Manuka is tested by an independent, ISO17025 accredited lab, so the number you see is the number you get.One number on the jar, a whole lot of bush behind it. 🍯
