A little Feng Shui and a whole lot of energy shifting. 🤍
I spent the day giving my bedroom some much-needed love and rebalancing its energy.
For years, this space has felt cold, clinical and lacking warmth. It was one of those rooms I never quite got around to finishing because, well… life happened. We had kids, and my bedroom became more about surviving than relaxing.
During both pregnancies, I was incredibly sick. We even moved our bed closer to the ensuite because I spent so many days and nights vomiting. Then came the sleepless nights, the newborn stage, the exhaustion and everything that comes with becoming a mother.
And somewhere along the way, the room just stayed that way.
Looking back, I realised how much **the space was still connected to that chapter of my life.** It felt as though the energy had become stuck, holding onto years of sickness, exhaustion and survival mode.
So today, I decided it was time to shift it.
I wanted warmth. Softness. Comfort. A space that felt nurturing rather than clinical.
And what a difference!
I actually WANT to walk into my bedroom now. I want to curl up in bed with a book, slow down and enjoy being in my own space.
**Sometimes, as we grow and heal, our homes need to grow and change with us.**
That's what I love about Feng Shui. It's not just about where you place your furniture. It's about being intentional with your surroundings, releasing what no longer serves you and creating a space that supports the energy you want to welcome into your life.
This room no longer needs to represent survival. I want it to represent peace, rest and a beautiful new chapter.
Our homes hold so many memories. Sometimes it's time to make room for new ones 🤍
