Michele Ricamato is flying in from Chicago for two full days of professional learning right here in Adelaide, this Thursday and Friday, 5 and 6 November.

A day away from running our family business to learn from others doing the same.

Today, Craig and I were delighted to attend the Family Business Insights State Conference at the Adelaide Marriott Hotel, thanks to our legal team, ADLV Law.

We heard honest stories from family businesses of different sizes about their wins, challenges and hopes for the future.

Did you know the figures shared showed that:
• 70% of Australian businesses are family owned.

What stayed with us was how familiar the conversations felt. Looking after people, staying true to your values, building trust and planning for the future matter whatever your size.

What if legacy is simply love?

This week on The Empowered Parent Podcast, Steve Wellings shares his final reflections on life as a dad to his son Ben.
