Well, that was a slow comeback! 😂

So, I actually returned to work last week after being away recovering from surgery… but apparently, getting back into the swing of things also meant forgetting how to post on social media! 🤦‍♀️😂

I’ve been busy seeing your lovely faces in the treatment room, so I’m only just getting around to announcing my return. Better late than never, right? 💚

A huge thank you to everyone for your patience, understanding and support while I’ve been away. It’s been a big few months, and I’m so grateful to be doing what I love again.

I’ve missed you all and am looking forward to helping you feel your best!

✨ Appointments are open! ✨

If you’ve been putting off booking your next massage, or your body is starting to remind you that it’s been a while, now’s a good time to get yourself booked in.

Clearly, my social media game still needs a little rehabilitation… but thankfully, my treatment room is up and running! 🤣

See you all soon!

Thank you for being such wonderful clients 💚

A little update… 🤍

Just wanting to pop on and say hi! I’ve had a couple of minor complications over the last few weeks, but I’m recovering well from my surgery and was so grateful to be able to celebrate my birthday with my family yesterday. 🥰

I’m also using this time while I recover to work on a few things behind the scenes that I’m really excited to share with you over the coming weeks.

Thank you for all the love and support — it means more than you know. 🤍

✨ Why do I love Wili Heat Packs?

Because not all heat packs are created equal.

Most people think a heat pack is just a heat pack.

But what's inside actually makes a big difference.

Wili Heat Packs are filled with Australian-grown lupins instead of traditional wheat.

Why does that matter?

🔥 Retains heat longer
🔥 Odour free
🔥 Doesn't become damp when heated
🔥 Chemical and fungicide free
🔥 Can be used hot or cold

When clients ask me what they can do at home to help manage muscle tension, heat is often one of my first recommendations.

So when I was looking for a heat pack to stock in the studio, I wanted something that wasn't just good—I wanted something better.

Wili's Australian-grown lupin filling, thoughtful design and beautiful fabrics made it an easy choice.

That's why you'll find Wili Heat Packs here at Need To Be Kneaded. I hope you'll love them as much as I do.

Mother’s Day is your reminder… she deserves to feel looked after too 💛

The kind of care she gives everyone else?
She rarely gives that to herself.

So this year, give her something she’ll actually feel.

✨ Deep relaxation
✨ Better sleep
✨ Relief from the aches she’s been ignoring

From magnesium essentials to heat therapy and calming home rituals — or a gift voucher so she can choose exactly what she needs.

Because “I’m fine” doesn’t always mean she is.

Let’s take care of Mum, properly 🤍

Your body is always listening… not just to what you do, but to what you think.

Stress, tension, negative self-talk — it doesn’t just stay in your head. I feel it in tight shoulders, clenched jaws, and bodies that are running on empty.

The good news? The opposite is just as powerful.

A few small ways to support your body + mind every day:
• Notice your self-talk — would you speak to someone you love that way?
• Take 5 slow, deep breaths when you feel tension creeping in
• Move your body daily (it doesn’t have to be intense)
• Stay hydrated + nourish yourself properly
• Prioritise rest — your body repairs when you slow down

You don’t need to overhaul your life overnight. Start small. Stay consistent. Your body will feel the difference 🤍

Have you noticed how your body responds when you’re stressed vs relaxed? I’d love to hear your experience in the comments 👇

Okay but HOW beautiful is this review 🥹

“I almost don’t want to share so I can gatekeep Monica’s availability…” — honestly, the highest compliment 😂

I’m so grateful when clients take the time to share their experience. Listening properly, adjusting pressure, finding those sneaky restriction spots, adding in cupping when it’s needed… that’s the work I love. It’s never just “a massage” to me — it’s about helping you walk out feeling refreshed, restored, and back in your body.

And yes — easy parking and simple online booking is part of the therapy too 🙌

If you’ve been to my little studio, I’d genuinely love to hear about your experience — what did you notice? How did you feel after? Pop it in the comments below. It means more than you know. 💚
