Was fortunate to spend the weekend attending a beautiful and powerful workshop in Sydney on Gadigal/Wangal land titled ‘Elements of Magic’.

This was an excellent introduction to the contemporary & progressive ‘Reclaiming Witchcraft’ tradition offered by two very experienced & capable Aussie based Reclaiming teachers,ritual practitioners and authors,Fio Gede Parma & Jane Meredith.

Both teachers were encouraging & supportive to the committed students in attendance.

Very hands on experiential workshop focused on working with the elements,connecting with the land, invocation,circle casting,spellcraft,singing & toning, chanting,dance & movement,trance states, raising energy & ritual.

A unique and wonderful experience.

A great nite at Art Gallery of NSW.

Sheltering after first experiencing a few minutes of torrential rain, Amelia & I took our time viewing a brilliantly curated exhibition : Avatar, Forms Of Vishnu & also some live Indian classical music.

The photos don’t really do justice to the exhibition but it’s a must see for anyone interested in India & its unique culture,history & mythology,seen through an artistic lens of the ineffable,multivalent,& mysterious form of Vishnu.
