When this beautiful client first came to us, her goal was to get her acne under control before her wedding.

We started by focusing on rebuilding a healthy skin barrier with our Signature Facials, before gradually introducing corrective treatments and skin needling as her skin was ready.

With monthly treatments, a consistent homecare routine and the addition of internal support, the progress speaks for itself.

And the commitment? She travelled over an hour each way to see us for every appointment! 🥹

This transformation is such a beautiful reminder that achieving healthier skin isn’t about finding a quick fix. It’s about having the right plan, being consistent and giving your skin the time it needs.

10 years of Urban Skin. Where do I even begin? 🤎

When I first started Urban, I don’t think I could have imagined just how much this little business would grow, how much it would teach me or how many incredible people it would bring into my life.

Looking back, there have been so many moments of growth, challenges, changes and milestones worth celebrating. And while I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built, I think I’m even more grateful for everything I’ve learnt along the way.

To my beautiful team, our clients, past and present, and everyone who has been part of Urban’s story in some way, thank you. You’ve all played a part in making these 10 years so special.

Here’s to 10 years of learning, growing and doing what I love. And hopefully many more to come.

We never enjoy having to enforce our cancellation policy, but as a small business, it’s an important protection for our team and the time we set aside exclusively for each client.

A little reminder of how our policy works:

• Appointment reminders are sent via text 48 hours before your booking
• Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice incur a 20% late cancellation fee
• No-shows incur a 50% fee

Your appointment time is reserved just for you, and late cancellations can often leave us without enough time to offer that space to someone else.

We’ll always do our best to be understanding where we can — we just ask that you give us as much notice as possible if your plans change. 🤎

After having my third baby, I decided this year was the time to focus on my skin again and get back to feeling good about myself 🤍

Pigmentation was my biggest concern, so while I was breastfeeding we focused on hydration, barrier support and monthly skin needling to keep improving my skin until I was able to treat the pigmentation more directly.

Once I finished breastfeeding, we did a Cosmelan treatment and the difference has been huge. Obviously the pigmentation has improved but I’ve also noticed such a big change in my skin texture and overall skin quality.

I’ve had Cosmelan before (during COVID) and my pigmentation did eventually return because pregnancy was a big trigger for me. That’s something I’m always really honest about — we can treat pigmentation, but if the trigger is still there, it can come back.

Would I still do it again? Absolutely. If your triggers are under control, or you’re wanting a big improvement before a special occasion like a wedding, I genuinely think it’s so worth it.
