Hello fellow Yogalates Teachers, Yoga teachers, Pilates instructors, Physiotherapists, Personal Trainers and movement therapists!

Yogalates Academy Yogalates Louise Solomon & I are so excited to have created this short 50hr online course ~ Core Foundations & Mastery of Breath

If you trained in the Yogalates Method prior to 2015 we’ve updated and levelled up our teachings of Core and Breath. If you attended the 2012 Josephine Keys Update weekend you’ll be familiar with her Functional Pelvic Patterns and Functional Breathing Method. They are now integrated in our teachings.

No more “navel to spine” “lift your pelvic floor” nor “thoracic breathing”. There’s an intricate understanding provided on the Core muscles as well as supporting muscles. Learn these muscles other roles and how they inter-play OR interfere with Core. Depending on their balance in strength and tone effects trunk stability, alignment and the efficiency and functionality of breath.

A functional breath supports students that present with asthma, anxiety, depression, cardiovascular and respiratory conditions. Improving diaphragmatic rhythm impacts the nervous system aiding the relationship between digestive and mental health.

This course would be a fabulous upskill for your group classes and one-to-ones. We are inundated with physios joining our teacher training program because of the high standard of knowledge shared, gaining the recognition it deserves.

We had our Yamba Yoga Retreat with 8 wonderful women on the weekend. This being the theme of what I share over the 4 days. No matter how many times I hear it, it hits home. 🥰 The term ‘self care’ is over used and commercialised it only skims the surface and possibly even diverts away from hearing the Soul’s desires. Doesn’t quite hit the mark like ‘Soul Care’ does. We’re not talking massages or long walks on the beach, it’s checking in and treating yourself like your very best friend. Truly listening and tending to where you’re at. 🫶🏼
