A friendly reminder that Flatland Drugs will be closed on Long Weekends In addition, we are also open to the public.

We wanted to take this opportunity to extend a very warm welcome from Brandon's newest pharmacy and tuck shop. Flatland Drugs opened its doors on May 4, 2015, and we are so excited to be a apart of Rotary Villas at Crocus Gardens (in the old police station). Flatland Drugs was born from the vision of providing community-based pharmacy for the community. We, at Flatland Drugs, are friendly and approachable. We are a customized pharmacy designed to meet the medical needs of our clients while putting that personal touch into every one of your visits. We look forward to seeing you, so pop in and say "hi"! Probably the most common question that I get is, " Where did the name come from?". I have always loved my home province of Manitoba and I have always made that fact known. While I lived in the bustling city of Vancouver, I became known as the Flatlander. It was obvious to me that I would have to use this nickname with pride in some venture in the future! Flatlander was too long so Flatland Drugs is what it became. I am proud to be a Manitoban and part of this beautiful community.

💚 Meet Ian! 💚

Ian is one of our pharmacists and the owner of Flatland Drugs! He’s been working in pharmacy for 18 years, but that’s not where his career started! Before pharmacy, Ian worked as a carpenter and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology, as well as a degree in Entomology! 🪲🧠🎓

It’s never a boring conversation when you’re chatting with Ian that’s for sure!

🏝️ Stranded on a deserted island, and you can only bring three things…

You’d find Ian with his longbow, sipping some tea, and holding onto his swimming goggles!

💚 Favourite part of working in pharmacy?

For Ian, it’s all about connecting with our patients! His favourite part of the job is counselling patients and helping them optimize their health outcomes.

We take this time to honour residential school survivors, remember the children who never returned home, and recognize the ongoing impacts of the residential school system and systemic inequalities experienced by Indigenous peoples.
