October’s Healthy Habit: Board Games

This month, Melanie is sharing one of her favourite ways to unwind and have a little fun — playing Yahtzee!

Whether it’s a little friendly competition with family or a game night with friends, board games are a great way to slow down, connect and enjoy some screen-free time.

Sometimes the simplest activities bring the most joy!

What’s your favourite board game?

Happy World Spine Day! 🌎🧡

Your spine supports you through so much of your everyday life — from working and exercising to picking up your kiddos, walking the dog and doing all the little things in between.

Today is a great reminder that caring for your spine doesn’t have to be complicated. Regular movement, changing positions throughout the day, building strength and paying attention when your body is asking for a little extra support can all make a difference.

Here’s to keeping our bodies moving and doing the things we love!

A little Wednesday reminder: your body doesn’t need you to find one “perfect” position and stay there all day. 🧡

Our bodies love variety.

Sit for a while. Stand up. Take a walk. Stretch. Change positions. Rest when you need to. Move in ways that feel good.

Sometimes the simplest thing you can do during a busy day is just give your body something different.

So if you’ve been sitting in the same position scrolling for the last hour… consider this your friendly reminder to move. 😉

Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates — what’s the difference?

While both can support movement, strength and overall function, they aren’t quite the same thing!

Clinical Pilates uses individualized, Pilates-based exercises that can be adapted to your body, your needs and your goals — and may be incorporated as part of your physiotherapy care.

Whether you’re managing pain or injury, working on strength and mobility, or simply wanting to feel more confident in the way your body moves, Mary can help you figure out the best place to start.

Book with Mary online or chat with us in clinic to learn more!

Those seemingly small movements are building blocks for feeding, tummy time, rolling and all the milestones still to come.

When I check your kiddo, I’m not just looking at where they might be restricted. I’m looking at how their little body is moving, growing and developing as a whole.

Tiny movements. Big milestones.

Happy Birthday, Chiropractic!

On September 18, 1895, the very first chiropractic adjustment was performed — which means chiropractic is officially turning 131 years old!

A lot has changed in 131 years, but one thing hasn’t: the incredible ability of the human body to move, adapt and function at its best.

We feel pretty lucky to spend our days helping people in our community feel better, move better and support their health through every stage of life.

So today, we’re raising a little birthday toast to chiropractic — and to all of YOU who trust our team to be part of your care.

Happy 131st Birthday, Chiropractic!
