My ability to support you with custom herbal preparations is in jeopardy. Please help.
⏰ THE DEADLINE IS JULY 12, 2026. ⏰
Health Canada is accepting public feedback on its proposed Natural Health Product Compounding Policy and Raw Material Policy right now — and your voice matters.
These policies will shape what herbal practitioners in Canada are legally permitted to do. They affect:
🌿 How your herbalist prepares your remedies
🌿 Whether high-quality, practitioner-grade herbs remain accessible
🌿 Whether individualized herbal care survives as a clinical practice in this country
Here's what you can do RIGHT NOW:
📩 Email the NNHPD directly at [email protected]
Tell them:
— You support herbalists' right to dispense single-herb preparations as compounded products
— You support herbalists' right to compound according to clinical judgment, not commercial product availability
— You want Health Canada to recognize and protect the practice of herbal compounding
You don't need to be an expert. You just need to show up. A few sentences from a patient, a community member, or someone who has experienced the difference that individualized herbal care makes — that counts.
Share this post. Tag a friend who sees their herbalist. Make some noise before July 12th. 🌿
